Fishing on Guntersville is exceptionally good right now, with both high numbers and decent sizes of fish being caught, averaging about 50 a day. This has certainly made for fun days on the water. Although the weather has been atypical for mid-May, it’s clear that the fish are loving it.
The water temp has been fluctuating between 74-79 degrees. Clarity is still mixed.
Most of the fish are post-spawn, yet we continue to see some pre-spawn behavior and schooling action. The next couple of months look promising for fishing activities.
