The Ups and Downs of the Pre SPAWN. Its been a great week for us, we have had to change how we caught em each day.. what we mean is that one day they was buried up in the grass then the next we had to catch them suspended out off the grass lines or dragging the bottom with a variety of lures. We been bundled up and we’ve been in just long sleeved shirts its been a roller coster of weather and this week coming up looks to be 1st stable week we will get to see and a full moon. Things could get interesting.

So the crappie was 17 1/4 inches long weighed 3 pounds 12 ounces that is the largest crappie I’ve ever caught it was a beast .
The fish don’t seem to be everywhere ( just yet ) but when you stumble on to some they seem to be hungry to where you have to get the bait out of the back of their mouth.
